The following response was made on 19.10.2017:

“The above application was discussed by Eardisley Group Parish Council and I have been asked to forward the following response on their behalf:

163948 – Land adjacent to The Meadows, Almeley Road, Eardisley, Hereford, Herefordshire: Proposed construction of a two-bedroom dormer bungalow (Amendments)It is considered this dwelling still falls within the Settlement Boundary; the parking area has been improved and in overall terms, the application still confirms to the NDP. Based on these factors, EGPC supports this application.
We trust this is helpful and would be grateful if you can add EGPC’s representation to the planning portal.” NB: since this response was sent, the application was due to be discussed at HC Planning Committee on 1st November – see also 163946 below. No-one from EGPC attended this meeting, although Roger Phillips was present.”

The following response was made on 19.10.2017:
“173407 – Land off Bakers Lane, Winforton, Herefordshire: The proposed erection of an agricultural grain store with concrete apron.

The Parish Council noted agricultural development is permitted within the NDP and it, therefore, supports this application. Nevertheless, since the proposed grain store will be located close to residential dwellings and access would inevitably be through the lane, the Parish Council would like to suggest certain conditions be applied to minimise damage to the lane itself, as well as the impact on the residential area, as follows:

– That construction takes place during a dry period in late spring/summer when the lane is less likely to be muddy and become more so as a result of construction activity
– That a wheel-wash unit is used to prevent construction vehicles from tracking mud through the nearby residential area

The following response was made on 19.10.2017:

“The above application was discussed by Eardisley Group Parish Council and I have been asked to forward the following response on their behalf:

173675 – Barn A, Spond, Kington, Herefordshire: (Retrospective) Proposed variation to existing approval for conversion of barn to a dwelling.

This application was approved in August 2016 under permitted development application 162098. The proposed variation was considered by EGPC and the Parish Council noted: (a) permitted development of farm buildings into dwellings is encouraged by the NDP; (b) this dwelling uses the entire existing structure and will be developed into a low-carbon footprint, wheelchair friendly dwelling, all of which points are consistent with the objectives of the NDP. Based on these factors, EGPC supports this application.”

163946 – Little Meadows, Eardisley, Hereford HR3 6PP – Proposed erection of storage building. This was due for discussion at the Planning Committee Meeting on 1st November. No-one from EGPC was able to attend. [See also 163948 above)

173929/XA2 – PP Approval of Details Reserved by Condition – Land adjoining Courtlands Farm, Winforton HR3 6EA – Application for approval of details reserved by conditions 16 & 17 attached to planning permission 143517. Comments are not being accepted for this application by HC. Target determination date 27.11.2017.

Comments are not being accepted for this application by HC. Target determination date 27.11.2017.

Since the last meeting, a concern was raised with HC Planning Enforcement Officer regarding a structure that appears to be under construction behind Barn A, Spond, Kington, for which no planning application had been seen by the PC. Feedback has been received from Debbie Crowley that the owner has been invited to apply in retrospect for the extension currently under construction.
