P143517/F Land adjoining Courtlands Farm Winforton Herefordshire HR3 6EA Approved with Conditions 25.03.2015. Reported boundary issue following development of the above site, as reported by Courtlands resident. It was established the matter had been reported also to Herefordshire Council who had carried out a site visit and confirmed all was in order. Therefore, no further action required by EGPC.

P170772 Land at Premier Garden Centre Church Road Eardisley, Herefordshire: Proposed installation of a telecommunications base station with 22.5m lattice mast supporting 3 antennae and 2 dishes, with associated ground based cabinets and ancillary development. Target Determination Date: Thursday, 13th July 2017, decision pending.

“Planning Consultation – 170772 – Land at Premier Garden Centre, Church Road, Eardisley, Herefordshire

EGPC has reviewed the proposed installation of a telecommunications base station & ancillary equipment, which appears to be consistent with their NDP, with particular reference to Section 9. Supporting the County’s Economy and Policy J1 – New Technology and Sustainable Economic Growth. Policy J1 states “EGPC will promote sustainable economic growth by:

b) Supporting proposals for well-designed and unobtrusively located development, associated with the introduction of appropriate mobile telephone equipment, to provide high quality telecommunications for business and residential users.”

In addition, in a supporting statement to the above Policy, the NDP goes on to specify: “During the Plan (NDP) period, the PC will need to implement the best possible solutions to improve mobile coverage in the 3 parishes ….”

When conducting research for the NDP, poor mobile telephone coverage was one of the frequently voiced concerns by many residents and employers alike.

Finally, the proposed location of the base station is not considered to be unduly close to residents’ homes.

The comments from EGPC are, therefore, that they wish to support this proposal.”

Proposed agricultural livestock building. Target Determination Date: Thursday, 13th July 2017, decision pending.

“The above proposal for a livestock building at Eardisley Park Farm was considered at the last meeting of EGPC on Monday, 19th June 2017 and I (the Clerk) was asked to make the following comments on their behalf:

Since the proposed livestock building is not in close proximity to residential property, EGPC has no objection to this application being approved.”
