3 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: – The Minutes were agreed, and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
4 Report from Cllr Clive Skelton: – Herefordshire Core Strategy is now available in hard copy. Other issues were on the PC agenda so CS would give any relevant information then
5 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PERIOD:-

6. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN: – report given by Nancy James – see sheet A attached
The referendum will be run by Herefordshire Electoral Services
Councillor Clive Skelton expressed his thanks on behalf of EGPC to Nancy for all the work she has done towards the Neighbourhood Plan
7. TRAFFIC/HIGHWAYS – Report – Roger Burrage – see sheet B attached
EGPC RESOLVED to support a Grant Application to Kingspan for funding towards Village Gates
8. KINGTON SURGERY: –
Under new management who are keen to develop better communication with patients. Recruiting a new practice manager as J Rudge has left
9. WINFORTON WOOD: – Mr J Forrest gave some background. He has spoken to HC who seem reluctant to get involved. Some disquiet locally with the situation
10. COUNCIL FARMS – SELL OFF.
Within the 3 parishes 11 local families are directly affected. Councillor C Skelton voiced his disgust and disappointment at the way HC has handled this. It was AGREED that the Chair should send a strongly worded letter to HC.
11 MAINTENANCE of MAIN ROADS by BBLP: –
Work carried out locally on main roads quite poor. BBLP cleared grips but did not remove rubbish from the drains resulting in blocked ditches. Councillor Skelton will talk to BBLP. Report any problems to HC. Traffic Group also could discuss.
12 FLOODING: –
Discussion of the present situation – warning system ineffective
Websites/Hereford rowing club are useful.
Signage used when Letton flooded was very poor. Some signs still in place as BBLP have not removed them.
13 FINANCE:-
The bank balances were given
After discussion it was AGREED to make a donation of £200 to AgeUK
It was RESOLVED to pay: –
Clerk salary 383.57
+ tax 95.89
+ expenses 65.00
Whitney Hall hire for November 15.00
Eardisley Hall hire 17.00
